I A <br />Department Approval <br />l <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date.- 11/24/08 <br />Item No..- I La <br />City Manager Approval <br />Item Description.- Hearing to Consider Certification of Unpaid Utility and Other Charges <br />1 BACKGROUND <br />2 As authorized by City Code, Sections 506, 801, 802, and 906, the City annually certifies to the County <br />3 Auditor any unpaid false alarm, water, sewer, and other charges that are in excess of 90 days past due, for <br />4 collection on the following year's property taxes. Affected property owners are provided a hearing to <br />5 dispute any charges against their property. <br />6 <br />"7 Attached is the current list of delinquent charges.
