Attachment EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF .OSEVILLE RA1 SEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to clue call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, , osevill , Minnesota , on Mond ay, 1Oth day of November, 2008, at :00 p. m. The following members were passant: and the following members were absent: Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION APPROVING AGENCY AGREEMENT' FOR F:FI3:FRAL PARTICIPATION IN PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING FOR SP 160-091; MP NMT'P 6209(117) F IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: WHEREAS, the Northeast Suburban Campus Connector Bike/ Pedestrian Project, SP 160- 091; MP"" NMT'P 6209(117), will be funded by a Federal transprortation rant; AND WHEREAS, Minnesota Department of Transportation uses the Delegated ontra t. Process (DCP) to streamline the process and allow local agencies to let and administer construction contracts for Federal .Aid projects; AND WHEREAS, Mn/DOT acts as the City's agent through the DCP to accept federal funds for the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota statute Section 161.36, the Commissioner of Transportation be appointed d as agent of the City of Roseville to accept as its agent, federal aid funds which may be made available for eligible transportation related. projects. F IT FURTHER S LVEI , the Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized and directed for an on behalf of the City of Roseville to execute and enter into an agreement with the Commissioner of Transportation prescribing the terms and conditions of said federal aid participation as set forth and contained in "Minnesota Department of Transportation .Agency .Agreement No. 93491 ", a copy of which said agreement was before the City Council and which is made a part hereof by reference.
