l <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Department Approval <br />Item Description.- One Day Off-Site Gambling Permit <br />Date.- 10/27/08 <br />Item No..- 7.g <br />City Manager Approval <br />Ramsey County Bar Foundation has applied for an Off-Site Gambling Activity License to conduct <br />lawful gambling activities on November 8,, 2008 at the Midland Hills Country Club located at 2001 <br />Fulham Street. <br />The Minnesota Charitable Gambling Regulations allow any nonprofit organization, which conducts <br />lawful gambling for less than five (5), days per year, and total prizes do not exceed $,50,000.00 in value, <br />to be exempt from the licensing requirements if the city approves. <br />Motion approving Ramsey County Bar Foundation's request to conduct Off-Site gambling on <br />November 8,, 2008 at the Midland Hills Country Club located at 2001 Fulham Street. <br />Attachment.- A.
