We use this information to <br />4 develop capital improvement plans and in the development of the annual budget request in these <br />5 areas. We also work closely with Ramsey County and Mn/DOT on improvements to City <br />6 infrastructure as a part of their road improvement projects within Roseville. 2009 proposed <br />"7 construction is a larger mill and overlay program due to increasing needs because of the volume <br />8 of streets reconstructed in the 70's and 80's. The following are improvements that we are <br />9 recommending for the 2009 construction season on the city system. Ramsey County has not <br />1 (,-) finalized their work program for 2009. <br />12 POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />13 1. Pavement Mann ement Prosmam Pros ects:, Each year the Public Works Department <br />14 evaluates infrastructure needs based on the City's Pavement Management Program and <br />1 assessment of utility infrastructure. Streets in marginal condition are recommended for <br />16 major maintenance by mill and overlay. Streets in poor condition are recommended for <br />1 7 reconstruction.
