The voters ofRoseville have overwhelmingly, especially in the primary, indicated they want a return to the good, government days, when all the citizens had a say through a democratic process in the shaping of Roseville's government. They explicitly did not candidates supported by the Al squad. Now you are wasting the community's time by trying to usurp the voters' wishes by trying to change the historic means of filling vacancies - both. caused by an election or a resignation, I wonder- if this would have been brought up if certain candidates had won the election . rather than lose in the primary! Keep, the existing process of filling vacancies. If necessary', hold a special election, with -primaries, in conJunction with our regular state and national elections in 2004, (remember _ you changed local elections, effective 20106, to save money and have them coincide with the other elections). The new council in January, through an open process, should then select a qualified *Individual to fill the vacancy.
