They are trying to sell the property. <br />4 0 Notices were sent on July I and July 29, 2008. The debris has not yet been removed. <br />0 Current violation include.- <br />6 Junk, debris,, and lumber along the south side of the building (violation. of City Code Section <br />1 <br />"7 407.02.1)). <br />0 A , status update including pictures, will be provided at the public hearin" <br />11, 6 - <br />9 POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />I ('_) The City goals within the Comprehensive Plan are to protect and improve property values (Goal 3, 4, <br />"I'll and 5; page 6 and, Section 3), and to adhere to performance standards which protect the integrity of the <br />1 <br />12 housing units and the neighborhood (Policy 6, page 8, Section 3). <br />13 FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />14 City Abatement.- <br />I An abatement would encompass the following.- <br />16 0 Removal of junk, debris, and lumber.- <br />1 "7 0 Approximately - $,325.00 <br />11 % ",`�11 0 Total.- Approximately - $,325.00 <br />19 In the short term,, costs of the abatement will be paid out of Community Development's budget. The <br />20 property owner will then be billed for actual and administrative costs. If charges are not paid, staff is to <br />2 1 recover costs as specified in Section 407.07B.
