Re oval: During any calendar year, temporary signs, grand opening signs, special event <br />signage and other attention getting devices may be in place no more than 12 days, except <br />institutional uses which shall be allowed for no more than 30 days. <br />c. Size: The surface area of any temporary sign shall not exceed 75 square feet. This area shall <br />be in aididition to permanent, window and other signage allowed elsewhere 'in this chapter. <br />id. Location: A temporary sign shall be located a minimum of 15 feet from a property line. <br />Bill. Not Required: A permit is not required for the following sign, <br />I I i. Real estate signs to the extent that the following criteria are met,-, <br />c, Business and Industrial Property: For the purpose of selling, renting, or leasing <br />business/industrial properties, a real estate sign not exceeding 10 square feet shall be <br />mounted on the building wall or ire orpo rats ld into an existing freestanding sign. On multi'_ <br />tenant property where new signage is requested, said real estate/leasing agent sign shall be <br />made part of the required Master Sign Plan in Section -�1010.03D. <br />D. Master Sign Plan: <br />4. Criteria. The following critietia should be used when developing a Master Sign Plan. <br />a. Guideline. If possible, the underlying zoining district regulations (pertaining to <br />signage and list in Section 44010 10.10) should be used as a guideline with <br />minimum variations as needed to meet the intent of this Chapter. <br />d. Type. All types of signs are permitted except those prohibited by Section <br />10 10.02C. <br />e. Size, The size of all signage (building wall and free standing) shall be limited to 1.5 <br />times the maximum allowed under Section 10 10.08 (Wall Signage). <br />5. Approval Process-. Submittal of a Master Sign Plan application, appropriate/applicable <br />information, and fee ($250 residential and $350 commercial/industrial) is required <br />with the Office of Community Development. The Development Review Committee <br />shall hold an administrative hearing and take appropriate action on requests for Master <br />ii <br />,sign Plan approvals.
