(an�d addition l) capital projects., 20, 21 On Jung 11, 2007' the City Council approved a resolution for a request for $,695,000 in the 22 2008, bon�din�g bill (resolution attach�ed) for the rem fining projects from the 2006 request., This 23 in�cludes an in tion ry factor an takes into consideration t onstruction Cost Index., Sin�ce 24 the Jung 11 resolution was approved, the City has been research�in�g a geoth�erm l project at 25 the Roseville Skatin�g Center Arena., Based upon the State of Min�n�esota's 25x25 in�itiative an�d 26 overall interest in sustain ility the City Council requested staff to pursue including the 27 geoth�erm l project in the 2008, bon�din�g bill request., Staff has pursued this effort., 28 29 In Novem er an�d Decem er 2007'th�e House an�d Sen to Capital Investment Com�m�ittees 30, an�d represen�tatives of the State Finance Departm n�t toured the facility an�d heard about the 31 proposed projects. , At those tours, there appeared to be interest in the geoth�erm l project., 32 33 The geoth�erm l project was not part of the initial Jung 11, 2007'resolution�/request., After the 34 legislative tours several legislators suggested that this would be an appropriate inclusion in 35 the 2008, bill an�d that it would fit the State's en�viron�m n�tal stewardsh�ip direction�.
