Department Approval <br />��S�E <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date.- 9/22/08 <br />Item No..- 7.c <br />City Manager Approval <br />Item Description.- <br />Romano's Macaroni Grill,, request to approve Ownership Name change for On-Sale and <br />Sunday Intoxicating Liquor Licenses <br />2 BACKGROUND <br />3 The Romano's Macaroni Grill has applied for an On-Sale and Sunday Intoxicating liquor licenses at 1705 <br />4 Highway 36. This is a change in corporations owning the restaurant. Local management staff will remain <br />5 in place. <br />6 POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />"7 Required by City Code <br />8 FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />9 The revenue generated from license fees collected is used to offset the cost of police compliance checks, <br />1 ('.); background investigations, enforcement of liquor laws and license administration. <br />11 STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />12 The City staff has reviewed the application and has determined that the applicant meets City <br />13 requirements, and is recommending approval of the application. <br />14 REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />1 Motion approving/denying the On-Sale and Sunday Intoxicating liquor license, for Romano's Macaroni <br />16 Grill to be held on September 22, 2008. <br />1 ��7 <br />Prepared by: Chris Miller., Finance Director <br />Attachments: A: Application <br />Page I of I <br />
