<br />Dear Council Members,, On Sunday., March 6th., I received a call regarding the proposed
<br />"Josephine Woods," project. As a long time resident of los,ephine Road, I have many Concerns,.
<br />I understand the ruling that only people living within 500 feet of a project need be notified
<br />of any changes, made but that does, not seem right. My husband and I live at 1,270 los,ephine
<br />Road. Over the years,, we have soon a nice quiet neighborhood go into a racing drag strip for
<br />many commuting back in forth from Arden Mills, Shoreview., the college and all traffic coming
<br />from Snelling Avenue. We have had the Police Dept involved on many occasions, to try and
<br />slow the traffic down or hopefully discourage some traffic to re-route, maybe even Ingerson
<br />Road in Arden Hills,. Nothing has helped and during the summer, it only gets, wors,e. Now they
<br />are talking about building more homes, which would caus,e more traffic.
<br />We have a mentally disabled child (adult) who can no longer cros,s, the street to get the mail.
<br />This was once a big step for her independence. I also care for infants, and if you try to
<br />cros,s, in the walkway by Cotton Tall Park with a stroller., this has become even more uns,afe.
<br />We watch elderly people that live at 2800 North Hamline who are out for a walk trying to
<br />cros,s, in that walkway also Someday, someone will lose their life. As we sit on our deck
<br />during the summer time, the screeching of the brakes, is so common. Now they want to endanger
<br />the lives, of those living in this area even more by building more homes, and not opening
<br />County Road C2. This should of been done years, ago .
<br />am sure you receive many letters, regarding is,s,ue's, but this one is SO important. I a s, k
<br />that you reconsider this before construction takes, place. Like I said above., we were not
<br />even aware of any projects, going on and in so many ways,, it affects, all of us, on los,ephine
