,PR,0CLAWA770N <br />NATIONAL NIGHT OUT 2008 <br />WHEREAS, the National Association of Town Watch (NA TTY) is sponsoring a unique, <br />nationwide crime, drag and violence prevention program on August 5, 2005 called "National <br />Night Out' ; and <br />WHEREAS, the "25th Annual National Night Out "provides a unique opportunity for <br />Roseville to join forces with thousands of other communities across the country in promoting <br />cooperative, police - community crime and drug prevention efforts; and <br />WHEREAS, Neighborhood Watch plays a vital rate in assisting the Roseville Police <br />through joint crime, drag and violence prevention efforts in Roseville and is supporting <br />"National Night Out 2005" locally; and <br />WHEREAS, it is essential that all citizens of Roseville be aware of the importance of <br />crime prevention programs and the impact that their participation can have on reducing <br />crime, drugs and violence in Roseville; and <br />WHEREAS, police- community partnerships, neighborhood safety, awareness and <br />cooperation are important themes of the "National Night Out "program; <br />NOW THEREFORE RE, THE R OSE VILLE HA YOR AND CITY COUNCIL, do <br />hereby call upon alt citizens of Roseville to join ROSEVILLE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH <br />GROUPS and the National Association of Town Watch in supporting "25th Annual National <br />Night Out" on August 5, 2005. <br />FURTHER, LET IT BE RESOL VED THAT, EVE, ROSEVILLE HA YOR AND CITY <br />COUNCIL, do hereby proclaim Tuesday, August 5, 2005 as "NATIONAL NIGHT 0ITT" in <br />ROSEVILLE. <br />Craig Klausing, Mayor <br />William Malinen, City Manager <br />
