Effective in 2008 a benefit increase would be based on previous two years CODA and <br />funding level. <br />Increase pension Benefit Level from 9 to 30 <br />The current monthly benefit of 9 per year of service increased to 30 per year of service. <br />The current y early benefit of $2,900 per year of service increased to 3,000 per year of service, <br />Reference enclosed schedule of pension rates. <br />Background: <br />At October 3, 2006 regular scheduled council meeting,, the e�uneil passed Resolution 10422 <br />which allowed the Fire Relief Association to request a pension increase ever two years based <br />on cost of living adjustment. <br />]Vin anei a l Implications: <br />Reference enclosed.
