Attachment A 2 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING 3 OF CITY COUNCIL 4 CITY OF ROSEVILLE 5 0 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 20 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 30 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 40 47 48 49 RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2000 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 15th day of December, 2008, at 0:00 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Councilperson introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR 2009 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM AND ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENT BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted July 21, 2008, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of the following streets: Neighborhood Street From To 57/59/60 1 Roselawn Avenue Hamline Ave Victoria Street and, WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The City Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $2,510,407.21. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 20th day of January, 2009, in the council chambers of the city hall at 0:00 p.m. and the City Manager shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilperson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: . Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
