EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 24th day of August, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Kehr, Johnson, Cushman, Matson, and Wiski, and the following were absent: None. Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 8202 COMPENSATION PLAN TO MEET PAY EQUITY ACT REQUIREMENTS WHEREAS, the Minnesota Pay Equity Act of 1984 requires every political subdivision to establish "equitable compensation relationships" among its employees; and, WHEREAS, the attached compensation plan for City employees meets the requirements of establishing equitable compensation relationships; and, WHEREAS, the Compensation Plan is to be implemented on a gender-neutral basis; and, WHEREAS, the Plan moves those positions below the corridor up to the corridor with a one-time adjustment, and addresses those positions above the corridor on a phased, multi-year basis; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the attached Compensation Plan for City employees be approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Plan be implemented effective September 9, 1987. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Kehr, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Kehr, Johnson, Cushman, Matson, and Wiski, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
