EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the fourteenth day of September, 1987, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Matson, Kehr. Cushman, Johnson, and Wiski, and the following were absent: None. Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8208 MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Roseville and the Minnesota Department of Transportation had entered into an agreement on February 12, 1987, for work to be done on Snelling Avenue as part of State Project No. 6216-91 (T.H. 51=125); and WHEREAS, as part of that contract the state had included cost to be apportioned to the city for a traffic signal at the intersection of Snelling Avenue and Roselawn Avenue; and WHEREAS, said intersection does not have any of the roadways under the jurisdiction of the City of Roseville and, therefore, the city should not pay for said work; and WHEREAS, MnDOT has now prepared a new agreement to amend and modify the original agreement; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville enter into Agreement No. 63852-1 with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes, to-wit: to amend and modify Agreement No. 63852 dated February 12, 1987, to provide for deletion of the participation by the City in the costs of the construction to be performed upon and along those portions of the Roselawn Avenue (County Road No. 114) westerly and easterly approaches to Trunk Highway No. 51 (Snelling Avenue) that are within the corporate city limits under State Project No. 6216-91 (T.H. 51=125). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City Officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreement.
