EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE it it * it * * it * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the twenty-eighth day of September, 1987, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Wiski, Johnson, Cushman, }~tson, Kehr. and the following were absent: None. Mecber Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8211 MINNESOTA DEPARTHENT OF TRANSPORTATION AGREENENT TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON SNELLING AVENUE NORTH OF COUNTY ROAD C WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to construct a traffic signal at County Road C-2 and Snelling Avenue; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to reconstruct existing traffic signals at the intersection of Lydia Avenue and Snelling Avenue plus County Road C and Snelling Avenue; and \tlHEREAS, it is desirable to interconnect these traffic signals to provide maximum efficiency of the facilities; and WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared by the City of Roseville and the Minnesota Department of Transportation identified as Agreement No. 664296 to accomplish this work and identify the responsibilities of each agency; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes, to wit: To install a new traffic control signal with street lights and signing on Trunk Highway No. 51 (Snelling Avenue) at County Road C-2j revise the existing traffic control signal with street lights and signing on Trunk Highway No. 51 (Snelling Avenue) at Lydia Avenue; install interconnect on Trunk Highway No. 51 (Snelling Avenue) from County State Aid Highway No. 23 (County Road C) to Lydia Avenue in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth and contained in Agreement No. 64296, a copy of which was before the Council. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized to execute such agreement, and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City all of the contractual obligations contained therein. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City Officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreement.
