<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />'J( <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota <br />was duly held on the 12th day of October, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cushman, Kehr, Johnson, Matson, <br />and Wiski, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 8213 <br /> <br />1988 SUMMER ENTERTAINMENT SERIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires to seek a grant from the <br />tiJetropolitan Council for State funding to carry out 1988 SUlluner <br />Entertainment Series programmed entertainment in the park Sunday, <br />Tuesday, and Thursday evenings; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council requires that all grantees authorize <br />dnd specify by resolution of their governing body the individual to <br />apply for and execute the grant agreement on behalf of the organiza- <br />tion; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that James F. Andre, City fvlanager, is <br />authorized to apply for and execute on behalf of the City of Roseville <br />a grant agreement with the Netropolitan Council for the Summer Enter'- <br />tainment Series. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Nember Johnson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Kehr, Johnson, Matson, and <br />Wiski, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
