<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in <br />the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the <br />twenty-sixth day of October, 1987, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Cushman, Kehr, Johnson, and Wiski, <br />and the following were absent: <br />Matson. <br /> <br />Member <br /> <br />Kehr <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8216 <br /> <br />NOMINATION TO RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT BOARD OF MANAGERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed Board is governed by a board of managers <br />which are appointed by the various county boards of commissions within its <br />jurisdiction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the term of Gerald Sande representing Ramsey County is expiring at the <br />end of this year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has reviewed the past accomplishments of <br />Mr. Sande and has discussed this office with him; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville hereby nominates <br />Gerald Sande for reappointment to the board of managers of the Rice Creek <br />Watershed District and requests that the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners <br />favorably consider this nomination; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Roseville staff is instructed to make known to <br />similar communities within Ramsey County the city's support of Mr. Sande and <br />enoourage their involvement in the nomination process. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilperson Johnson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Cushman, Kehr, Johnson, and wiski, and the following voted <br />against the same: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
