EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * .. . * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the twenty-sixth day of October, 1987, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Cushman, Kehr, Johnson, and Wiski, and the following were absent: Matson. Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8216 NOMINATION TO RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT BOARD OF MANAGERS WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed Board is governed by a board of managers which are appointed by the various county boards of commissions within its jurisdiction; and WHEREAS, the term of Gerald Sande representing Ramsey County is expiring at the end of this year; and WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has reviewed the past accomplishments of Mr. Sande and has discussed this office with him; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville hereby nominates Gerald Sande for reappointment to the board of managers of the Rice Creek Watershed District and requests that the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners favorably consider this nomination; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Roseville staff is instructed to make known to similar communities within Ramsey County the city's support of Mr. Sande and enoourage their involvement in the nomination process. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilperson Johnson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Kehr, Johnson, and wiski, and the following voted against the same: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
