<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota <br />was duly held on the 21st day of December, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Johnson, Matson, Cushman, <br />and Wiski, and the following were absent: Kehr. <br /> <br />Member Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8224 <br /> <br />IN COMMENDATION OF BRUCE RYDEN UPON HIS RETIREMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bruce Ryden has served the City of Roseville with <br />dedication and distinction as Fire Marshal for eighteen years; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these years of service have been marked by exemplary <br />dedication to the safety of the City and its residents as he has <br />developed and carried out an excellent fire prevention program; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, his experience and knowledge have been valuable assets <br />to the City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bruce has retired from the City as of December 1, 1987; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville does hereby express its sincere appreciation for <br />Bruce Ryden's outstanding service, and extends its congratulations <br />and best v~ishes for continued success in his future endeavors. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Matson and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Matson, Cushman <br />and Wiski, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
