<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the city <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the City <br />Hall in said city on Tuesday, the twenty-sixth day of January, 1988, at <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Matson, Cushman, Kehr, Johnson, and <br />Rog. <br /> <br />And the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilperson Matson introduced and moved the adoption of the following <br />resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8260 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON BOTH SIDES OF EAST <br />CLEVELAND AVENUE FROM COUNTY ROAD C TO FAIRVIEW AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cleveland Avenue from County Road C to Fairview Avenue is a <br />Municipal State Aid Street (M.S.A. No. 241); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such roadways must conform to established standards, including <br />the prohibition of parking on both sides for thirty-eight foot wide <br />designs. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that parking is hereby prohibited on <br />both sides of Cleveland Avenue (M.S.A. No. 241) from County Road C to <br />Fairview Avenue identified as Roseville Project No. P-85-20C be adopted. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Public Works Director is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this <br />resolution to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilperson Kehr and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br /> <br />following voted in favor thereof: Matson, Cushman, Kehr, Johnson, and <br />Rog. <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
