Although I no longer teach Environmental Science, I did for many years, and helped to found the Race to Save the Planet Learning Community at M T . I currently teach biology(physiology and nutrition). Education:: Ph.D. in Nutrition from Purdue University MS in Foods and Nutrition at Oregon State University BA in Biology at St. Olaf College,Northfield, SIN Post Doc in Biochemistry at Vanderbilt University. Civic and Volunteer Activities (Past and Present):: St. Michael's Lutheran Church,past church council member, still active Several organizations through my college, including work with the Minneapolis Womeds club and Loring Community group. I think I can understand issues, and translate them into understandable terms. I also am well aware of many issues that are of concern to young people and try to promote those.
