EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due cali and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the city of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, February 29, 1988, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Rog and Councilmembers Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and Kehr and the following were absent: None Also present were James F. Andre, City Manager; Charles Honchell, City Public Works Director; Douglas strong, Senior Engineering Technician; Robert Bell of Peterson, Bell, Converse and Jensen, City Attorney, and Edward Burrell, Finance Director. Councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8269 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT NO. P-88-02, NEIGHBORHOOD NO. 28 AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR UNDER AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No. P-88-02, Neighborhood No. 28 consisting of the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, and necessary appurtenances on all that property abutting: Simpson Street from County Road B-2 to Transit Avenue Albert Street from Sextant Avenue to Brooks Avenue Sheldon Street from Sextant Avenue to Brooks Avenue Pascal Street from County Road B-2 to Transit Avenue Arona Street from County Road B-2 to Snelling Curve Transit Avenue from Holton Street to cul-de-sac 500' west of Arona Sextant Avenue from Arona Street to cul-de-sac 500' west to Arona as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $602,315.74, and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the City Manager; and having considered the views of all interested persons and being fully advised in the premises, the Council does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed. The City Public Works Director is directed to prepare and submit to the Council the final plans and specifications. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Matson and upon roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and Keh~ and Rog and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
