1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />33 <br />34 <br />35 <br />36 <br />37 <br />38 <br />39 <br />40 <br />41 <br />42 <br />43 <br />44 <br />45 <br />Attachment B <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 18th day of April, <br />2011, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: ; and the following were absent: . <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION No. <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING METROPOLITAN COUNCIL <br />ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES MUNICIPAL <br />INFILTRATION /INFLOW GRANT AND DESIGNATING <br />AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has applied for and been awarded grant funds in the <br />amount of $156,662.00 for capital improvements to the Roseville municipal waste water <br />collection system to reduce the amount of inflow and infiltration to the Metropolitan <br />Council's sanitary sewer disposal system; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to receive the grant funds the City of Roseville is required to <br />provide to the Metropolitan Council a Resolution which authorizes the City of Roseville <br />to enter into the Metropolitan Municipal Publicly Owned Infrastructure <br />Inflow /Infiltration Grant Program Grant Agreement- Construction Grant for the Roseville <br />2010/2011 Inflow /Infiltration Improvement Project ( "Agreement "), the Certification <br />required thereunder, and all other documents referred in said Agreement; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />hereby ratifies and approves the Agreement, authorizes the City of Roseville to undertake <br />the I/I Municipal Grant Program and Project referred to in the Agreement, including the <br />financial responsibilities of the City as shown in Article IV of the Agreement, and <br />authorizes and empowers its Mayor and City Manager to enter into and execute the <br />Agreement, Certification and all other documents referred to in the Agreement, on behalf <br />of the City, and to perform or direct the performance of all other actions necessary to <br />consummate the requirements of the City of Roseville under the Agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Roseville Public <br />Works Director is hereby designated as the authorized representative for the Project who <br />
