1 <br />City of Roseville <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />Attachment A <br />2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SELECTED TEXT OF TITLE 10 (ZONING CODE), CHAPTER 1009 <br />3 (PROCEDURES), SECTION 1009.02 (CONDITIONAL USES) OF THE CITY CODE <br />4 THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br />5 SECTION 1. Purpose: The Roseville City Code, Section 1009.02D 1 is hereby amended to <br />6 limit the number of occupants in accessory dwelling units approved as conditional uses and requiring <br />7 that each accessory dwelling unit is given a unique address identifier to distinguish it from the principal <br />8 residence. <br />9 SECTION 2. Chapter 1009.02D1 is hereby amended as follows: <br />10 d. Maximum occupancy of an ADU shall be limited to 2 people. <br />11 e. An ADU shall be assigned a unique address identifier to differentiate it from the principal <br />12 dwelling. <br />13 df. A detached ADU may be located above a detached garage of the one - family dwelling or within a <br />14 separate accessory building meeting the standards for accessory buildings. <br />15 g. Dimensional Standards: <br />16 h. The entryway to a detached ADU shall be connected to a street frontage with a paved walkway. <br />17 gi. The appearance or character of the principal building shall not be significantly altered so that its <br />18 appearance is no longer that of a one - family dwelling. <br />19 hj. Design Standards for Detached ADUs: <br />20 SECTION 3. Effective Date.
