Attachment E EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City 2 of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of April 2011 at 6:00 p.m. 3 The following Members were present: 4 and was absent. 5 Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: s RESOLUTION NO. 7 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 5 YEAR EXTENSION TO RAMSEY COUNTY'S s EXISTING HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION SITE AS AN 9 INTERIM USE IN ACCORDANCE WITH §1009.03 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE 10 (PF3663) 11 WHEREAS the subject property at the northeast corner of Larpenteur Avenue and Kent 12 Street is owned by Ramsey County, and 13 WHEREAS, the subject property is legally described as: 14 PIN: 08- 29 -23 -32 -0004 15 Sarah's Out Lots to Saint Paul subject to the easement in Document 1411943 and subject 16 to Larpenteur Avenue and Wagner Street, a tract composed of Lots 1, 2, 7, and Lot 8 17 WHEREAS, Ramsey County has requested a 5 -year extension of the approval of the 18 satellite household hazardous waste collection facility at the subject property as an INTERIM 19 USE; and 20 WHEREAS, the household hazardous waste site operates on a seasonal schedule, 21 typically during the summer months; and 22 WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the 23 proposed INTERIM USE renewal on April 6, 2011, voting 7 -0 to recommend approval of the 24 use through for an additional 5 years, based on the comments and findings of the staff report 25 prepared for said public hearing which were found to adequately address the City's interests; and 26 WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has determined that approval of the proposed 27 INTERIM USE will not result in adverse effects on the public health, safety, and general 28 welfare, and that it will not impose additional costs on the public if it is necessary for the public 29 to take the property in the future; 30 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE 31 the proposed INTERIM USE renewal in accordance with Section § 1009.03 of the Roseville City 32 Code, subject to the condition that: Pagel of 3
