EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the city Hall of Monday, the twenty-eighth day of March, 1988, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Rog Cushman, Johnson, Matson, and Kehr, and the following were absent: None. and Councilmembers CouncilmemberCushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8285 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON CONTRACT 1988 CONTRACT E WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council on February 29, 1988, the City Public Works Director has prepared plans and specifications for Improvement No. SW-88-08 and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; and WHEREAS, pursurant to resolution passed by the City Council on March 14, 1988, the City Public Works Director has prepared plans and specifica- tions for Improvement No. SW-88-06 and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; and WHEREAS, the 1988 budget contains funds for the reconstruction of the parking lot for fire station No.2, identified as project M-87-13; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. 1988 Contract E includes the following improvements: M-87-13, SW-88-06, and SW-88-08. The city Manager shall prepare the cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for Improvement Nos. M-87-13, SW-88-06, SW-88-08 shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Public Works Director until 10:00 a.m., April 26, 1988, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and subsequently be considered by the Council; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid.
