CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NOA <br />Ail, ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SUBDIVISION CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />IkOSEVILLE PROVIDING FOR A DEDICATION FOR PARK PURPOSES AT THE <br />TIME OF SUBDIVISIOND <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: <br />I <br />Chapter 20 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended by <br />2dding a new Section 20.155, to read as followsl <br />20o155. Park Dedication. <br />Except as provided for in (2), below, as a condition to approval <br />of any subdivision, the owner shall dedicate ten percent of the <br />gross area of the land being subdivided for residential purposes <br />and five percent of the land being subdivided for other purposes, <br />for public park, playground, open space, trail SyStem or other <br />public recreational purposest <br />2) The following acreage shall be exempt from the dedication <br />0 <br />requirements of this section. <br />f <br />%a) Any land included in a new lot created to accommodate an <br />existing structure. <br />Any land within 130 feet of an existing developed street in- <br />a residential zoned subdivision and any land within 300 <br />feet of an existing developed street in a commercial or <br />industrial zoned subdi'vison. <br />4) At the option of the City, and in lieu of such dedication, th..; <br />owner shall pay to the City for park purposes, an amount of <br />cash equal to the undeveloped land value of that portion of the <br />area to be subdivided which would otherwise be required to be <br />dedicated. <br />a dispute arises concerning the amount required by paragraph <br />3, above, the amount shall be finally determined by a qualified <br />appraiser named by the City, <br />
