REVIEWED/ RECOMMENL <br />The second petition is from the residents on Cohansey from County Road B-2 to County <br />0 a <br />Road C Thi's petition was. signed by 60% of the people in the neigh�orhood and is <br />identified as Project 81-6. <br />In the same neighborhood, a petition was turned in for Transit Street between <br />Cohansey Boulevard and Western Avenue. In this 'Case it was signed by 78.4% of the <br />residents and is identified as Project 31-8. <br />In the case of the Merrill Street petition, the consulting firm of Short-Elliott- <br />�Iendrickson has already been retained to do an engineering study in the neighborhood <br />*Pn Fernwood and Dellwood. Their agreement specifically spells out the fact that <br />they would do additional streets in this neighborhood as part of that study. There- <br />fore, no additional agreements are need for this project. <br />In the case of the Cohansey and Transit petitions, engineering proposal has been <br />received from SEH to do this work in a time frame that would allow it to be con- <br />structed as part of the 1981 construction season to take advantage of the good <br />bidding prices. This agreement is in accorda-nce with the previous ones they had <br />presented earlier this year., <br />Recomme'nded Council Action: Adoption of a resolution ' declaring the adequacy of <br />-a petition.for the reconstruction of Cohansey from <br />County Road B-2 to County Road C. identified as <br />Project 81-6; and ordering the preparation of a <br />feasibty report. <br />Adoption of a resolution declaring the adequacy of <br />a petition for the reconstruction of portions of <br />Merri 11 , Terrace and Judi th Streets , identi f i ed as <br />Project 81-7;and ordering the preparation of a <br />feasibiltty report. <br />Kdoption of a resolution declaring the adequacy of <br />a petition for the reconstruction of Transit Avenue <br />identified as Project 81-8; and Ordering the pre- <br />paration of a feasibility report. <br />W a <br />10tion approving an engineering agreement with th4 <br />consulting firm of Short-Elliott-Hendrickson a.iid <br />
