IIEAD APPROVAL. <br />Reports & Recommendations Administration <br />JEM NO.: ITEM DESCRIPTION <br />Establish public hearing for Cable Television <br />Request for Proposals <br />With the public meeting and hearing held May 20, the North Suburb�n Cable Commission <br />(NSCC) has completed its first task of drafting the Request for Proposals (RFP) <br />that will go out to interested cable companies. Submitted separately is a copy of <br />this document, <br />Based on the ■ manner the Commission was set up and the rules of the Minnesota Cable <br />Communications Board, it is now necessary for each City in the cable service terri- <br />tory ta adopt,,,, at a public hearing, a resolution permitting distribution of the NSCC <br />draft RFP. The Commission has requested this be done prior to July 1. Ninety days <br />is then allowed for cable companies to submit bids.
