MEETING 7.13-81 <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION DATE: - - <br />As explained in the attached letter from the City Attorney, the ordinance amending <br />Section 20.140 of the Code would permit the division of an R-2 zoned lot without <br />consideration by the Planning Commission and Council, it would permit the division <br />of the lot so that the two units of a double house -could be sold to separate owners. <br />The Manager could refer the division request to the Council if problems existed, <br />The second ordinance amends Section 66.060 of the Code by requiring separate utility <br />connections for both units of a double house if the lot were divided, even though <br />the house may have been constructed prior to September 19, 1979. Thi's is to assure <br />that if there are separate owners, each owner would have utility service. <br />The ordinances have been prepared by the City Attorney in response to requests he <br />has received from property owners, If the Council decides to adopt these ordinances, <br />the following motions are suggested: <br />Motion adopting Ordinance amending Section 20,141 <br />(1) of the City Code of the City of Roseville by <br />providing for approval of certain lot divisions, <br />Motion adopting Ordinance amending Section 66.060 <br />if the City Code of the City of Roseville by provid- <br />a <br />ing for separate connections for utilities in R-2 <br />fistricts, <br />
