TO C i ty Co un 61" 1 Aft <br />F <br />FROMI% James Andre, Ci■ <br />ty Manager <br />SUBJECT.9 Agreement Between City of Roseville and American Legion <br />There have been two meetings between representatives of the Rosetown <br />Legion Post and Roseville staff to discuss provisions of a proposed <br />agreement by which the Leqion would dedicate certain land for baseball <br />use, There has been agreement on the basic principals of such an <br />agreement as follows: <br />1. The Legion would dedicate sufficient land to construct a <br />regulation baseball field and reserving those portions of <br />land adjoining the baseball site not needed for baseball <br />activity as ponding. (Attached is a preliminary layout of <br />the baseball field), <br />The property to be used for baseball only, or for whatever <br />sports activity designated by the Legion as the field's <br />primary use. Other recreation activities would be permittel <br />anly if it did not interfere with or cause physical damage <br />tr modification to its primary use. <br />7. City and Legion each will have use of field for two nights of thi <br />week, Monday through Thursday. The City will program the use of <br />the field and coordinate the Legion schedule, <br />8. The Legion will have right to rent the field for special tournaments, <br />subject to the City policy applicable to other park facilities. <br />(e.g., reimburse City for clean-up costs), <br />
