MEETING 7-21-81 <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION DATE*. <br />At the last meeting the Council established the date of July 27, 1981, for consideration of <br />the construction of a bike path along Lexington Avenue from Dionne to County Road D. <br />Notices were sent to the papers concerning this project consideration so that the citizens <br />could be aware of the action, <br />Discussions have been held with representatives from Minn/DOT to review the state grant <br />associated with this, and they indicated that they would be willing to consider this design, <br />The basic reason for this consideration i's their strong desire to have this improvement done <br />from a safety standpoint, <br />Tkecommended Council Action: Motion approving the construction of a bike path <br />alona Lexington Avenue and authorizing the staff <br />WJ <br />to prepare final plans and specifications, <br />
