RE)4�WED/ RECOMMENDS: Temporary Crushing Operation for Long Lake 2oad The contractor would be not only crushing the Long Lake Road concrete, but would be crushing other concrete as well because of the volumne needed for the Long Lake Rom, base. It seems reasonable that condons be placed as to the completion of this operation and the hours it would be allowed to operate, !iecomended Council- Action: Motion approving a temporary permit to N.D.H., Inc. for a concrete crushing operation at 2417 Cleveland Avenue, in conjunction with Project 79-21, with the following conditions: That the crushing operation be terminated and the area restored by the time the improvement .of Project 79-21 is completed, and in no event later than September 30, 19820 2. That the material generated by this crushing operation be predominately utilized in the Long Lake Road/Terminal project. 3. That the hours of operation be limited to 7:00 AMAo 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays., At the last Council meeting bids were reported for the reconstruction of Long Lake Road and Terminal Road, Low bidder was N.D.H., Inc. As you are aware, Long Lake Road is constructed of concrete and this material will be removed as part of the project, The plans were drawn in a manner that would allow the contractor to recyclm. the old concrete by crushing it and using it as a base under the new asphalt, The contractor would be not only crushing the Long Lake Road concrete, but would be crushing other concrete as well because of the volumne needed for the Long Lake Rom, base.
