<br />( <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />April 6, 1988 <br /> <br />TO: Jim Andre <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Bob Bierscheid <br /> <br />~~ <br />~~ <br />~ <br /> <br />RE: "Review of Lexington School Proposal by Parks and Recreation Board <br /> <br />At the Parks and Recreation meeting of Monday, April 4, the Board went on record <br />as opposing the current proposal for a park developed by the owner of the property. <br />The Board stated that they oppose the latest plan because it is insufficient, <br />unmaintainable, provides limited community access and is not in the best interest <br />of the overall City of Roseville. The preferred plan is the one that was presented <br />in January of 1988. <br /> <br />Tim Daulton moved and Barb Mastel seconded that should the City accept the overall <br />development plan for this parcel which includes the present park proposal. the <br />Board recommends to the City Council that they stipulate that the required park <br />dedication be given in money rather than in land. <br /> <br />Motion was unanimously approved. <br />cc: Craig Waldron <br />
