<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting on the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the city <br />Hall on the thirteenth day of June, 1988, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members we~e present: Mayor Rag <br /> <br />Cushman, Johnson, Matson, and Kehr~ <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />and Councilmembers <br /> <br />Councilmember Kehr <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS NO. 8302 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1988 CONTRACT E <br />INCLUDING PROJECTS M-87-13, SW-88-06, AND SW-88-08. <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the above improvements, <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office <br />of the Manager of said city, said bids were received on Tuesday, April <br />26, 1988, at 10:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />T. McCrossan Construction <br /> <br />$103,852.54 <br />108,889.05 <br />111,721.80 <br />133,956.98 <br />140,092.00 <br />160,479.90 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that T. A. Schifsky and Sons of North st. Paul, <br />Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of <br />$103,852.54. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a cotract with T. A. Schifsky and Sons for $103,852.54 <br />in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore <br />approved by the city Council and on file in the office of the City <br />Manager. <br /> <br />2. The city Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except <br />the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder <br />shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br />
