<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting on the city <br />council of the city of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City <br />Hall on the twenty-seventh day of June, 1988, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Rog <br />Cushman, Kehr, and Matson, <br />and the following were absent: Johnson. <br /> <br />and councilmembers <br /> <br />Councilmember Matson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONi, NO. 8306 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1988 CONTRACT 0 <br />INCLUDING PROJECT NO. P-88-02, NEIGHBORHOOD NO. 28 <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the above improvements, <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office <br />of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on June 9, 1988, <br />at 10:00 a.m. o'clock a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and <br />the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />Central Landscaping <br />T. Co. <br />Bituminous Roadways, Inc. <br />Ashbach Construction Co. <br />Alexander Const. <br /> <br />$344,582.20 <br />355,525.51 <br />359,464.75 <br />373,364.45 <br />388,728.38 <br />394,866.84 <br />411,532.12 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Central Landscaping of Forest Lake, Minnesota <br />is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $344,582.20. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the city of <br />Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract with Central Landscaping for $344,582.20 in the <br />name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according <br />to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the <br />City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except <br />the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder <br />shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br />
