<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall <br />on July 11, 1988 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kehr, Cushman, Matson, Johnson, and <br />Rog. <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8325 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENT NO. ST-85-21 <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No. ST-85-21 of the <br />city of Roseville on all that property in the area bounded by 35W on the <br />west, Prior Avenue on the east, County Road B-2 on the south, and the <br />Burlington Northern Railroad tracks on the north by the installation of <br />storm sewer and necessary appurtenances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the foregoing is in the area described in the legal notice <br />relating to the original hearing on the improvement and the resolution <br />relating thereto, and the contract price for such improvement is <br />$80,844.00 and the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in <br />the making of said improvements amounts to $17,837.52 so that the <br />total cost of the improvements will be $98,681.52, and of this cost <br />the city will pay $75,991.46 as its share of the cost. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the city of <br />Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The cost to be specifically assessed is hereby declared to be <br />$22,690.06. <br /> <br />2. The city Manager, together with the assistance of the City Public <br />Works Director, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be <br />specially assessed for such work against every assessable lot, <br />piece or parcel of land within the improvements affected, without <br />regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a <br />copy of such proposed assessment in his office for pUblic <br />inspection. The city Manager may arrange for the assistance of the <br />Data Processing Division of the county of Ramsey in the preparation <br />of the proposed assessment roll. <br />
