January 14, 1982
Vacant City-Owned Property
-- 2-
B. Lots 29 and 30 Block 4. Kroiss Eastwood Addition.
2 1
The Committee recommends this property be retained, The City has been
maintaining the property, and it is being used by the neighborhood residents.
Lots 1-4 and 19-21., Block-3,, Kroiss Eastwood Addition.
The Committee recommends this property be retained. The lots are heavily
wooded and are a haven for birds, rabbits and other small game. Over 30
P 1 1P
neighborhood resident volunteers had a clean-up day in this park last
summer, The -Committee feels this property has recreational value,
E, Lot 16, Block 1, Franksons Garden Plateau,
The Committee recommends this property
it was conceived this area would serve as ca sitil"A.-M. k"rAzil'ct; 1:0,Ll ilie
hood, and would join with the proposed Chatsworth Park. Because the Chatsworth
site will not be purchased, this area no longer has any recreational value,,
It is recommended by this office that City-owned property (parcel designation
#1 and #2), except Lot 17_, Block 4, Kroiss Northwood Addition, be placed up
for sale, The initial review of these properties by the Parks and Recreation
*irector did not suggest a need for these parcels,
M
In reference to those lots within parcel designation #1, there is a ballfiel.'s
approximately one block to the south at Matilda near Millwood. To use these
lots as both a parking lot for cars and trailers and also unsupervised
activities may present unsafe conditions.
