EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 23rd day of January, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Pust, Willmus, Johnson, McGehee and Roe and the following members were absent: none. Councilmember McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10965 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE STATE OF MINNESOTA AGENCY AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL PARTICIPATION IN CONSTRUCTION WHEREAS, the City of Roseville uses federal transportation funds to complete transportation projects; AND WHEREAS, Minnesota Department of Transportation uses the Delegated Contract Process (DCP) to streamline the process and allow local agencies to let and administer construction contracts for Federal Aid projects; AND WHEREAS,Mn/DOT acts as the City's agent through the DCP to accept federal funds for the City; BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota Stat. Sec. 161.36, the Commissioner of Transportation be appointed as Agent of the City of Roseville to accept as its agent, federal aid funds with may be made available for eligible transportation related projects; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,the Mayor and the City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to execute and enter into an agreement with the Commissioner of Transportation prescribing the terms and conditions of said federal aid participation as set forth and contained in"Minnesota Department of Transportation Agency Agreement No. 99918", a copy of which said agreement was before the City Council and which is made a part hereof by reference. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Pust, Willmus, Johnson, McGehee and Roe and the following voted against the same: none. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
