EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 23rd day of January, <br /> 2012, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Pust, Willmus, Johnson, McGehee and Roe <br /> and the following members were absent: none. <br /> Councilmember McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 10965 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE STATE OF MINNESOTA AGENCY <br /> AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL PARTICIPATION IN CONSTRUCTION <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville uses federal transportation funds to complete <br /> transportation projects; <br /> AND WHEREAS, Minnesota Department of Transportation uses the Delegated Contract <br /> Process (DCP) to streamline the process and allow local agencies to let and administer <br /> construction contracts for Federal Aid projects; <br /> AND WHEREAS,Mn/DOT acts as the City's agent through the DCP to accept federal funds <br /> for the City; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota Stat. Sec. 161.36, the Commissioner of <br /> Transportation be appointed as Agent of the City of Roseville to accept as its agent, federal <br /> aid funds with may be made available for eligible transportation related projects; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,the Mayor and the City Administrator are hereby authorized <br /> and directed for and on behalf of the City to execute and enter into an agreement with the <br /> Commissioner of Transportation prescribing the terms and conditions of said federal aid <br /> participation as set forth and contained in"Minnesota Department of Transportation Agency <br /> Agreement No. 99918", a copy of which said agreement was before the City Council and <br /> which is made a part hereof by reference. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Councilmember Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br /> thereof: Pust, Willmus, Johnson, McGehee and Roe and the following voted against the <br /> same: none. <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
