EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 14th day of November, 1988, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Matson, Johnson, Kehr, Cushman and Rog, and the following were absent: None. Member Johnson adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION NO. 8378 CONGRATULATING THE ROSEVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR ITS RECENT OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENTS WHEREAS, the Roseville School District has earned a well deserved reputation for excellence in both education and athletics; and WHEREAS, Ms. Maureen Sanger, a teacher in the Roseville School District, was recently named Minnesota's Teacher of the Year; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Raiders Girls Soccer Team has won the State Soccer Championship; and WHEREAS, Eric Bartels, a member of Roseville's Cross-Country Team, has won the State Individual Cross-Country Championship, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the city of Roseville does hereby extend its sincere congratulations to the individuals and the Roseville School District for outstanding accomplishments in education and athletics. The motion for the seconded by Member following voted in Cushman, Rag adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly Cushman, and upon a vot being taken thereon, the favor thereof: Matson, Johnson, Kehr, and the following voted against the same: none. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
