<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall <br />in said City on Monday, December 12, 1988, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Rog <br />Cushman, Matson and Kehr. <br /> <br />and Councilmembers <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Johnson. <br /> <br />Also present were Ron Moorse, Administrative Assistant to Acting City <br />Manager; steve Gatlin, City Public Works Director; Robert Bell of <br />Peterson, Bell, Converse and Jensen, city Attorney; Edward Burrell, <br />Finance Director; and Craig Waldron, Community Development Director. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kehr <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8386 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-89-10 <br />AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR UNDER <br />AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that <br />in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as <br />amended, the Council held a public hearing on the proposed construction <br />of Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-89-10 consisting of the installation of <br />sanitary sewer services, water services bituminous paving, concrete curb <br />and gutter, storm sewer, and necessary appurtenances on all that property <br />abutting Rose Place from Lexington Avenue to 450 feet west as described <br />in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $95,980.52, <br />and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the <br />feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the city <br />Manager; and having considered the views of all interested persons and <br />being fully advised in the premises, the Council does hereby determine <br />and order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed. The <br />city Public Works Director is directed to prepare and submit to the <br />Council the final plans and specifications. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Cushman and upon roll call vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, <br />and Rog. <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
