EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the city council of the city of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, January 30, 1989, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Cushman, Johnson, Kehr, and Matson. and the following were absent: Rog. Also present were steve North, Acting City Manager; steven Gatlin, City Public Works Director; Karl Keel, Assistant Public Works Director; Douglas strong, Engineering Supervisor; Baron Behning, Project Coordinator; Duane Schwartz, Engineering Technician; Robert Bell of Peterson, Bell, Converse and Jensen, city Attorney, and Edward Burrell, Finance Director. Councilmember Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8405 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT NO. P-89-02, NEIGHBORHOOD NO. 64 AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR UNDER AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No. P-89-02, Neighborhood No. 64 consisting of the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, and necessary appurtenances on all that property abutting: Oxford Street from Roselawn Avenue to Ruggles Street Ruggles Street from Lexington Avenue to Oxford Street Roma Avenue from approximately 200 feet east of Lexington Avenue to Chatsworth Street Dionne Street from approximately 200 feet east of Lexington Avenue to Aglen Street Aglen Street from Roma Avenue to Dionne Street as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $280,821.97, and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the City Manager; and having considered the views of all interested persons and being fully advised in the premises, the Council does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed. The City Public Works Director is directed to prepare and submit to the Council the final pla~s and specifications.
