EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the city council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Tuesday, January 31, 1989, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Matson, Cushman, Johnson, Kehr, and Rog. and the following were absent: None. Also present were steve North, Acting City Manager; steven Gatlin, City Public Works Director; Karl Keel, Assistant Public Works Director; Douglas strong, Engineering Supervisor; Tony Thury, Project Coordinator; Dean Findell, Engineering Technician; Robert Bell of Peterson, Bell, Converse and Jensen, city Attorney, and Nick Ensrude, Assistant Finance Director. Councilmember Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8409 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT NO. P-89-02, NEIGHBORHOOD NO. 7 AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR UNDER AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No. P-89-02, Neighborhood No.7 consisting of the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, and necessary appurtenances on all that property abutting: Wheeler Street from County Road D to Lydia Avenue Shorewood Curve from Wheeler Street to Shorewood Lane as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $181,336.05, and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the City Manager; and having considered the views of all interested persons and being fully advised in the premises, the Council does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed. The city Public Works Director is directed to prepare and submit to the Council the final plans and specifications. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Kehr and upon roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in fa~or thereof: Matson, Cushman, Johnson, Kehr, and Rag.
