EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 13th day of February, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Cushman, Kehr, Johnson, Matson, and Rog, and the following were absent: None. Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8415 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PRELIMINARY BREATH TEST INSTRUMENT NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety, for the purpose of receiving from the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety, a Preliminary Breath Test Instrument on a loan basis for use by law enforcement officers to assist in the detection of motorists who may be in violation of Minnesota Statutes Section 169.121, or local ordinances in conformity therewith. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Acting City Manager and Police Chief be and they hereby are authorized to execute such agreement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Cushman, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Kehr, Johnson, Matson, and Rog, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
