<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the city <br />Hall in said city on Thursday, the sixteenth day of March, 1989, at <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kehr, Matson, Johnson, Cushman, and <br />Rog. <br /> <br />And the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilperson Johnson introduced and moved the adoption of the <br />following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8425 <br /> <br />NO PARKING ON LYDIA AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lydia Avenue from Snelling Avenue to Fairview Avenue is a <br />Municipal state Aid street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such roadways must conform to established standards, including <br />the prohibition of parking on one side for thirty-six foot wide designs. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that parking is hereby prohibited on the north <br />side of Lydia Avenue (M.S.A. 160-226-04) from Fairview Avenue to Russell <br />Court and both sides of Lydia Avenue from Russell Court to Snelling <br />Avenue identified as Roseville Project No. P-89-03. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Public Works Director is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this <br />resolution to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the <br />seconded by Councilman Cushman and <br />following voted in favor thereof: <br />Rog. <br /> <br />foregoing resolution was duly <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />Kehr, Matson, Johnson, Cushman, and <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
