<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 8th day of May, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, and <br />Matson, and the following were absent: Rog. <br /> <br />Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8448 <br /> <br />ROSEDALE CHEVROLET/MACK TRUCK VACATION OF THAT PORTION OF <br />COUNTY ROAD C-2 LYING BETWEEN LONG LAKE ROAD AND 35W <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice, the City Council <br />held a public hearing to determine whether or not said street in the <br />City of Roseville should be vacated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that vacation of that portion of County Road C-2 <br />lying westerly of the West right-of-way line of 35W (T.H. 394) and <br />lying easterly of the East right-of-way line of Long Lake Road as <br />platted in Parranto Industrial Park and lying easterly of the East <br />right-of-way line of Partridge Road, all in the southeast 1/4 of <br />Section 5, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, would be <br />in the public interest since there is no public purpose of this land; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that vacation of the above described <br />portion of County Road C-2 be approved with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the appropriate utility easements be granted subject to staff <br />review and approval. <br /> <br />2. That the required deferred assessment be paid. <br /> <br />3. That the required concrete curbing be installed around the perimeter <br />of the existing and new parking areas as required by City COde, <br />except where already existing. <br /> <br />4. That a storm drain be installed subject to staff review and <br />approval. <br /> <br />5. That concrete curb and gutter be installed along Long Lake Road in <br />the new area. <br /> <br />6. That proper trash enclosures be constructed for the dumpsters <br />subject to staff review and approval. <br /> <br />7. That a landscape plan and curbing plan be submitted for staff <br />review and approval. <br />
