<br />EXT~,CT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the city of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the city <br />Hall in said City on Monday, the twenty-second day of May, 1989, at <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Matson, Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, <br />and Rog, <br /> <br />And the following were absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />CouncilpersonCushmanintroduced and moved the adoption of the following <br />resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8451 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF <br />REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT NO. P-SW-89-16 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed by Ramsey County to improve Hamline Avenue <br />between Larpenteur Avenue and County Road B by the installation of <br />bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, pathways, and necessary <br />appurtenances and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion <br />of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter <br />429. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OR THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />That the proposed improvement be referred the Public Works Director for <br />study and that he is instructed to report to the council with all <br />convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether <br />the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be <br />made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the <br />estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by councilpersonMatson and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Matson, Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, and <br />Rog, <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
