<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville met in regular session at the City Hall on Monday, the twenty- <br />second day of May, 1989, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Matson, Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, <br />and Rog, <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />CouncilpersonCushman introduced the following resolution and move its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8452 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING <br />FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT NO. P-SW-89-16 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the council adopted May 22, 1989, a <br />report has been prepared by Maier Stewart and Associates with reference <br />to the improvement of Hamline Avenue between Larpenteur Avenue and <br />County Road B by the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb <br />and gutter, pathways, and necessary appurtenances, and this report was <br />received by the council on May 22, 1989, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. The council will consider the improvement of such street in <br />accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property <br />for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the <br />imprvement of $1,536,490. <br /> <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the <br />twenty-sixth day of June, 1989, in the council chambers of the city <br />hall at 7:30 p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and and published <br />notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilperson Matson and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Matson, Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, and <br />Rog, <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
