EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, June 12, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Matson, Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog, and the following members were absent: None. Member Johnson Resolution and moved its adoption. introduced the following RESOLUTION 8456 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY WARRANTY DEED CERTAIN LAND IN FEE SIMPLE FOR THE PURPOSES OF ACQUIRING AND MAINTAINING A PARK FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE AND DIRECTING THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED FOR SUCH PURPOSE. WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Roseville deems it necessary and expedient and in the best interest of the City to acquire the following land in fee simple for the purpose of ac- quiring and maintaining a park for the City of Roseville; and WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Roseville has been advised by competent advisors and committees that the following described real property is desirable to acquire as a park; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has been able to negotiate for the purpose of purchasing said land; and WHEREAS, the City will acquire such property by warranty deed. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: The City Council of the City of Roseville hereby deems it necessary and convenient that the property described below be acquired by the City of Roseville in fee simple for park purpo- ses, all of said property being situated in the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, and State of Minnesota, to-wit: Re: Parcel 1 All that part of the following described p~operty lying Easterly of the West 250.15 feet.
