<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 12th day of June, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Matson, Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, <br />and Rog, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8458 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A <br />COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville regularly forms cooperative agreements <br />with other public agencies to gain the administrative and financial <br />benefits of cooperative purchasing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, entering into a Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with Hennepin <br />County would provide additional administrative and financial benefits; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville does hereby approve a Joint Powers Agreement between the <br />County of Hennepin and the City of Roseville for cooperative pur- <br />chasing, and does authorize the Mayor and City Manager to sign the <br />Joint Powers Agreement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Kehr, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Matson, Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, and <br />Rog, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br />) SS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY ) <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified Acting city Manager of <br />the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby <br />certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing <br />extract of minutes of a regular meeting of said City Council held on <br />the 12th day of June, 1989, with the original thereof on file in my <br />office. <br /> <br />WITNESS MY HAND officially as such Manager this 13th day of June, 1989. <br /> <br />~ <br />steve Nort .
